Remember it is important to not ONLY stretch an area of tension, but also to build supportive strength around the joints to function better! Increasing flexibility without proportionate strength can create more joint instability. We must address both. For example, if you can lie flat in half pigeon pose(and it probs feels great, yet only offers temporary relief) BUT you are struggling with bird dog or deadbug, we have an imbalance.
