We initiate the practice in Child's Pose to ground down and focus our attention. Then we warm up our core muscles with the different spinal movements and gentle stretches to release tension in the neck and shoulders.
Flow through Sun Salutations, lunges, side bends, and backbends. Then we continue with standing postures including Utthita Hasta Padangusthasana, Trikonasna, Dekasana, Revolved Crescent Lunge, Extended Side Angle, and Wide Legged Forward Fold.
Practice your balance with Garudasana, Eagle Pose, and Vrksasana, Tree Pose.
Strengthen you back and spine with Salabhasana, Locust Pose, Dhanurasana, Bow Pose, and Setu Bhanda Sarvangasana, Bridge Pose.
Remember to always listen to your body and back off of a posture if you lose sight of your breath. Prioritize breath and find ease over force. Enjoy your Yoga practice.
